Visiting Timanfaya National Park is a unique experience. A
moon-landscape was formed during one of the must important
eruptions in the world, because they lasted 6 years (1730-1736).
You will experience first-hand the geothermal anomalies present in
the area. “Hot hands”, “the entrance to hell” and the “geysers”
are some of the demonstrations. You can walk into the grill area
of the famous Devil´s Restaurant, where they cook with the heat
coming from deep in the earth.
But when definitely you will get to enjoy the beauty of this wild
landscapes is during the “Crater Tour”, Consisting in a bus tour
through an incredible road 14 km long.
We will then make our way to the west coast of the island to visit
an impresive crater with a green lagoon inside called “El Golfo”.
To end the Tour we will visit “La Geria”, where during a wine
tasting in a traditional winery, you will get to know the special
way of wine cultivation in Lanzarote.
We will start visiting the National park of Timanfaya, where you
will feel the heat coming form deep in the earth. After the 3
geothermal demostratiosn you will be driven along a breathtaking
lunar route with a bus trip. We will then continue our way passing
by the old capital of the island to stop in a viewpoint located
nearly at the highest point of the island (671m).
We will then drive through the Valley of the 1000 palm trees to
stop at “Jameos del Agua”. Here you will be walking inside a
volcanic tunnel where thousands of years ago the lavas were
flowing underground. The interior of this incredible cave has been
adapted by the legendary Lanzarote´s artist Cesar manrique, so
everybody can enjoy this treasure of nature.
We will start the tour visiting the Foundation Cesar Manrique,
located in the studio-home where the artist lived in. Was built in
the natural space of 5 natural volcanic bubbles communicated in
between them by tunnels.
Foundation brings you closer to his work and you will find all the
information yu want from this legendary artist. From here we will
go to “Mirador del Río”, a viewpoint considered by many people as
the “masterpiece” of the artist. Is not only the stunning views.
The building has won several architectonic awards.
To end the tour we arrive to the last work of the artist, the
“cactus garden”, considered one of the most important cactus
garden in the world. Is an authentic poetic scenario of shapes,
textures and colors. 1400 cacti from 450 species and the art of
Cesar.
We First visit El Grifo, which is the oldest winery in the Canaries with spectacle of the vineyards covered in volcanic ash and we Will walk in between the centuries-old vines.
Then we stop for a wine tasting and cheese at a classical winery "El Campesino". At the Next stop we visit
the winery "Rubicón", located in a very old and historical house.

We finish the tour in the winery "La Geria" from where the views of
this unique
man-made landscape in the world is the must.
